Drama, Music and Dance Club
The children in Key Stage 2 have a wonderful opportunity to be involved in a new Drama Club organised by Mrs Tanton.
Every Friday lunchtime they will be rehearsing for the musical;
‘Mystery
at
Magpie Manor’
The show is set in 1920s in a country house ‘Magpie Manor’. The owners need to raise money to maintain the house and wish to sell their last asset a special family piece of silver.
Unfortunately, the silver is stolen and a detective arrives to investigate. Will they retrieve it? Will they save the family home? Find out in the summer term as the children perform to the whole school and their parents!
The first rehearsals will focus on learning the eight songs from the show. They will then begin practising dance routines for the show.
The children who wish to have speaking parts in the production will be given a short piece of script to practise for auditions in a few weeks’ time.
